Description
Chicken gizzards, cleaned and prepared at our City Market stall. They are dense and firm, so the technique is to simmer them first until tender, then fry them hard with onions, garlic and chilli. Cooked that way they are superb — chewy in the best sense, and very rich in protein. A Kenyan favourite and one of our cheapest fresh chicken products at KES 550. Fresh halal, never frozen, delivered across Nairobi.
